
I have read a couple of threads recently and i still don't have a clue


in some it appears that i require a lot of toe out for the SVA.
but there is another that suggested that it should be the opposite of the donor and be toe in
hense my confusion.


the car currently requires setting up and has a lot of toe in, on a recent test drive it showed little or no self centering.
can any one shed some light?

Definitely toe OUT and loads of it. Just for SVA though.

i have found that the car tram lines a lot and the front bounces when you hit a bump or man hole cover. is this normal or have i got the front shocks
set too hard???

yep shocks much too hard, should be towards the soft end of their adjustment
I had loads of toe out. Castor at max. 40psi. Camber neutral. Shox approx 3 or 4 clix (Gaz). Groung clearance under sump between 3.5 and 4". Self
centering was great - handling scary!
Its up to you how you have it set for the drive up - go careful as it will handle crap (i blew tyres up when i got there - 18psi for the drive).
Darren you say 3 clicks on the shocks, is this turn all the way anti clockwise, then 3 clicks back or the opposite?
The rule that I was told by 'someone who knows' was to make the dampers as soft as possible while still keeping the car smooth and steady -
let the springs work as much as possible.
