Help identifying this Ford hub?
Gravelrash - 16/5/06 at 09:10 PM

Hi guys

I wonder if I could pick your brains for a moment. I am trying to identify this Ford hub (see links to pictures), I think it is a later Fiesta Mk1/2 and/or Escort. I need four of the little bliters really quickly and at the moment I am drawing up blanks.

Hub - Top

Hub - Side

The hub has 23 splines

Thanks in advance for any help!

Cheers
Rob

Not absolutely sure, but it looks very much like the front hub from the XR4x4, may not be though. I'm sure somebody will soon conferm, or reject, my assesment. Regards Chippy

It has wheels studs rather than bolts this is big clue as to what it is off. Fiesta and FWD escort used wheel bolts.

The wife's Fiesta has studs, as does the lad's, and so do the Escort hubs on the car trailer.

Syd

From the Ford quick reference catalogues, it appears to be a pre '94 Fiesta. That's if it's Ford in the first place.

Thanks for the response guys!

Syd, that sounds promising, do you have any part numbers? might see if I can cross reference them.

Pretty sure its a Ford, the CV joint is Ford as is the disc.

I "think" we've identified them as the following part number WH103. I don't have any cross reference information though which is a pain. Does anyone recommended a Ford pattern parts supplier that might be able to help out?

By all accounts its a Fiesta 1.1 89-94 front wheel hub. Any ideas on who might have new ones of these (apart from Ford )
