I have Cortina uprights, and managed to save some cash towards new brakes.
My standard M16 callipers are completely Fecked, so i thought i'd take the oppertunity to upgrade...
so, which callipers have various people used, how much, and from where?
all opinions welcome!!!!
I'm trying not to think the same - although my expenses should come through and .... well i'm determined not to spend them on the car but
fore armed is forewarned.
The Raceleda R16 calipers look good (MNR) which is what i'm (NOT) thinking of getting
I've gone for Raceleda R16 calipers from MNR.
They're a rebranded outlaw caliper and MNR do them for a very competitive price.
Just as a comparison, does anyone have a good place to recondition the M16 callipers?
my local place is tiny, and doesnt do it....
M16 calipers are £36.48+vat each from http://www.brakesint.co.uk
+ 6.75 postage + 10 per caliper surchange + posting the caliper back to them.
Oh, and they don't have any right hand side M16's in stock at the moment.

I work it out as about 115 if you don't have calipers to send them.
93.66 for two calipers + postage + vat.
Add another 10 for return postage or 20 pounds if you don't have them to return.
These people were very reasonably priced when I enquired some time ago.
