Dumb question this: I've got a later version of the sierra steering column which is adjustable and has the horn button in the centre.
I wish to change the steering wheel, but having prised the horn button off, there is a further plastic moulding which has the horn contact and springs
attached.
I've tried removing this to access the steering wheel nut but it wont budge, it all looks as though it's one with the wheel. I don't
particularly want to break it, so is it supposed to pop off, if so I'll give it a bit more gip.
My Haynes manual only shows the early versions.
Thanks for your help
Dave.
Get the screwdriver under the lip and it'll come off
A bit more gip it is then!
Thanks

I fitted the raid collapsible boss with my SWM wheel. Good unit. i was lucky to get wheel and snap off kit for nowt.
I used the boss and aftermarket wheel for SVA nbo probs (snap off fitted afterwards).
