my driveshafts have abs (teeth that go around the outside) will i have to remove the teeth,as it looks like they will catch the carriers
i used the rear drive shafts off a 2wd cossie with abs, i had to take all the teeth off to get the stub axle through the de-dion brace, so if you are
running de-dion then more than likely. bench grider do the trick a real treat,
if you got one that is, it would take a very long time with a
file
hope this helps

Mine just about fouled the rear uprights. I ground them down with an angle grinder until the grooves between the teeth jsut about disappeared. it seems to work fine.
thanks. just ground mine of with angle grinder, now they fit great
While I was removing the ABS teeth I decided there was a lot of surplus material on the stub, so while I was at it I removed quite a lot of material
from the stub.
I thought I had a picture but I can not find it.
