abs driveshafts

my driveshafts have abs (teeth that go around the outside) will i have to remove the teeth,as it looks like they will catch the carriers

i used the rear drive shafts off a 2wd cossie with abs, i had to take all the teeth off to get the stub axle through the de-dion brace, so if you are running de-dion then more than likely. bench grider do the trick a real treat, if you got one that is, it would take a very long time with a file

Mine just about fouled the rear uprights. I ground them down with an angle grinder until the grooves between the teeth jsut about disappeared. it seems to work fine.

While I was removing the ABS teeth I decided there was a lot of surplus material on the stub, so while I was at it I removed quite a lot of material from the stub.

I thought I had a picture but I can not find it.
