Spring rate for front of X-flow car
David Jenkins - 24/4/03 at 09:48 AM

I'm working up a shopping list for Stoneleigh...

Currently I have 200lb/in springs on the front of my X-flow powered car, and they seem too light - I have had to use tons of pre-load to get the car to the right height, and it doesn't take much to bounce the car right down.

I know people have settled on 275lb for the Pinto engined cars, but what's good for a car like mine?

cheers,

David

I have 300lb/in from Luego as recommended by them for there 'book' chassis. Not on the road yet so can't tell you what it like !

Hi David,

I supply 275lbs/in on my shock kits for the Xflow engine, and everyone seems happy with that.

Kind regards,

Darren
