I am in the process of converting my 2b to rear disks....
Is it possible to fit the rear cable from a sierra 4x4 (had disks as standard)...Does this cable come with the attachments to clip it onto the
callipers?
Dunc
The answer is yes the 4x4 rear calipers are the same spec as the 2wd versions the cable has the same fitment
The problem will be length you will have to shorten it
Aero
Will the rear drum type cable be different to the rear disk type cable?
What is the best way to shorten it?
Dunc
To shorten the cable you will need one of these to replace the end that you cut off - they just screw on with two grub screws. (sorry for crap pic)

Unless RazMan can give more info on where to obtain the correct ends
Then all you do is cut both ends off shorten the cable length re attach new ends job done.
Looks like the cable callipers want clevis pins....raly design sells them, but how on earth do you get them to stay on the cable inner?
i got rear discs from a xr4 xr i used standard callipers discs and handbrake unit and cable! doesnt need shortened just chopped in half at the linkage and joined to the lever- if in doubt i bought the cable from MNR if that helps!
