I don't think that ATS were exactly 'Due Diligent'.

Appalling to think what is driving on the road with you.

rolled up carpet as a bumper?? whats wrong with that

James - 26/6/06 at 12:03 PM

I like the ''carpet used as bumper'' bit!

Do you think it sprang back to shape better than the Mercedes 9mph system?

Cheers,
James

Butter, I find it's great for priming the oil pump and crank/cam journals myself.

ch1ll1 - 26/6/06 at 12:48 PM

they do a thing like that in africa
carnt remember what it is mixed with

but because of the cost they make there own !
i bought real fluid for my car over there!

but since it went into a garage over there
its now about 300% less reliable

will try to find out what they do !

Butter, are you mad? I though everyone used talcum power mixed with baby oil for bedding in oil pumps these days.

In mini circles people like that are often called FTM's (standing for Finger Tight Malcolm) but the original site with dozens of such stories seems to have fallen off the web now

Other than looking a complete dickhead, I don't see where the offence is here....I didn't think bumpers were a legal requirement....and if not can't you carry rolled up carpet at the fornt of your car, assuming you don''t obscure your number plate?
