im looking for some bike discs and calipers to stick on the back of my new car. Looking through ebay there are loads of 6 piston ones, question is, does 6 piston mean its good or si it just a gimmick? Would it be made from ally? Or do i have to look specifically for light ones? The ones ive spotted are tokico.

Any help appreciated as usual.

Theyre the same as i have on the front of my bike with braided hoses they are very good on a bike but no idea what they will be like on the rear of a car

bty the time youve had to put some handbrake calipers on isnt it going to weigh the same as a normal setup? or is this not for a road car?

The tiniest 2 piston bike calipers from the front of a 50 or 125 would be better, i can guarantee if you use 6 pots, you will end up
dialling them out with a bias adjuster, which is a waste of money, and weight, trust me iv'e been there. Would be awesome up front though. Pig to mount because of the lugs, but you can get round it, have a look at Rortys site.

Handbrake isnt a problem for now, i'll just put a stick through the wheels

A pair of 6 pots would stop a bus, they'll cost you a fortune in pads as well

I've read before on here that another solution for the handbrake is to use a spot caliper on the diff/propshaft?
