Hi,
I tried to mount the axle on the Sierra differential with standard M10 bolts.
When i was mounting them it feld tike the bolts were going in really hard.
I didn't trust it so inspectected one bolt when i took it out again and

whaaa
the new bolt was looking really bad.
What kind of bolt do i have to use between a Sierra diif and axle ?
Sorry for my bad English.
Thanks, Marco

IIRC, they are M10, but 1mm thread pitch (M10 FINE), not 1.5mm thread pitch like normal bolts.
Pat...
aha, know i have to find out where i can find a set of bolts.
Probably that will by the good old junkyard
Thanks for the advice
If you can't get any, they're easy to get here and postage isn't much.
Pat...
Got mine from a local fixings place, two quid for a dozen was all they charged

They're M10x1x18mm.
Ford part number:- P F6118344 182582 screw @ 76p each plus VAT.
As long as they're 8.8 grade they'll be OK from any stockist though.
Cheers
Steve
Remember this guy lives in Holland though!

Ah.....good point. Sorry Marco!
If it's any consolation, they were like rocking horse poo around here when I was after some anyway :-)))
Looks like Pat's offer is the best bet
