Hi All, anybody know of either, 1/ an artical on the repair/overhaul of the above. 2/ book that does the same. 3/ name of a firm in the south east that overhauls/repairs the above. HELP, I have a totaly ckufed diff and feel the need for speed. Can't do it with the horrid grinding noises coming from close astern. ATB Ray.

I didn't think you could refurb the lsd yourself. I thought it was full of some manky but very special viscous fluid?

I think infact, that the LSD part of the diff is pretty much like a multi plate clutch, that is torqued up to a set amount. Burtons do an overhaul kit for the atlas LSD, (£120 or there about's). Dont think any Manky viscouse fluid comes into it. Regards Ray
