Made my Steering down link this morning, I modified a sierra link so that it didnt need welding. and clamped it to
Can any one see any thing wrong with it ?
Not sure if that is the whole kit, but suggest there be a u-joint in the middle with some angle in it. In the envent of a front ender, it will save the steering colum from being rammed into your chest.
I agree that you might need to put another UJ in there to get around some of the engine bits like alternator and exhaust if they are on that side! It
looks like you have taken out a rubber link from between the two bits bolted together, putting it back may be enough to give you articulation for a
small divertion all be it with a slight loss of feel and action.

Where did you get the extra bit from??
It has full movment on the top and bottom uj. If I was to put in a third uj it would need mounting to the chassis like the tiger avon or it would flop
about. It clears all the running gear.
I got the Bit from a guy on here (cheers Bob ) Can be had from here www.nfauto.co.uk
That loosk fine to me. I had one very similar on mine until i changed it for a luego one. Im changing it back to my made one because it actualy looks stonger...
looks a bit complex for what it does but fine non the less
Yeh was going to cut and shut but as I didnt have any materials handy I thought I would have a play
I can't believe it's the right length!!!!
Only point I'd make is that your life depends on that bolted joint where the rubber thing has been removed - best bolts & locking nuts you
can get!!!! There's no redundancy there & it's susceptible to any inadvertent bending loads... Looks like a neat solution!

Yep thats how long it is, Have had it all fitted.
Sierra bits mean its adjustable by about 20mm either way.
