I jacked up the front to see how the front brake lines (rubber OEM ones) behave on both locks and found that on driver's side, the hose touches
the tyre
Not good;
I tried to pull them inwards a bit to shortent them - there is a rubber sleeve near the caliper that ulitmately limits the amount (although I could
remove it).
I am thinking that by moving the hole in the side panel trhough which the hose goes may make a difference but am not sure which way to move it.
So my plea is has anyone got photos/dimensions showing the hoses on both locks (cortina hubs) - to give me some idea.
TIA.
You can often alter the run of the pie by putting a twist in it & locking up the locknuts

ok; both of you tell me something I already knew - so it is off with the panel and fit a cardboard mock up and start buggering about with the position
and twist of pipes, sounds like hours of fun
Yep, put in the correct twist and its sorted.
no problem really, I thought it would be a big deal on mine but it took all of five minutes to sort.
I made a "pipe" from electrical flex first to get the lengths spot on with the end fittings fitted to the flex, then used the piece of flex
as a cutting gauge for cutting the aeroquip line to length.
An intermediate support from the top wishbone, using two (largeish) "P" clips, sorted my problem
