I bought a Sierra diff complete with driveshafts and hubs but without the rear calipers which had been sold seperately.
I hope to build a dedion rear axle and will obvioulsy need to get some calipers but are these all the same? I saw some on e-bay last week described
as 2WD Cosworth but didn't bid since I wasn't sure they would be OK.
Any advice would be appreciated.
I think that some calipers were for vented discs (cosworth) and the rest are for unvented discs.
So no, not all the same (probably)

I'm sure it's contagious, what do you think? as mookaloid says cossies had vented discs so the caliper is wider

you know you said you could just swap the flywheel for the torque converter on
that engine - well the bolt pattern is not the same

The short simple answer is there are 2 kinds - one for soild discs and one for vented
vented rear disc types can be found mainly on cossie 4x4's and big engined granada's
solid on everything else (inc cossie 2wd)
