Apologies if the subject was a bit misleading, but may be relevant
What are those things called which go on the end of throttle cables where they go into the pedal, with a little grub screw to hold the cable in
place?
I need one, but don't know what I'm searching for.

Hm... None of the kart ones are suitable
I need one with cable entry and grub screw both on the circumference. + the diameter needs to fit in the hole in the pedal.
I'll try and drill through a bolt and then clamp the cable between a couple of nuts. Or just phone Westfield for the proper item
This'll do with a bit of luck.
