The brake fluid container on the top of the master cylinder can this be reversed round, if so how, I have given it a slight tug but feels solid, is is possible to remove it, if so would I need new seals, if I do is a visit to a ford dealer or are they available elsewhere.

Just pull it a tad harder it just sits in two seals, Why do you want to turn it round?

Thought if I could turn it round the fluid level would be more level, that probably makes no sense, but I know what I mean

pull hard and replace the seal when you re-fit it. Only a few pence from your friendly Ford dealer

Firstly, I don't think the reservoir needs to be more level.... horizontal is fine and certainly works ok on my car.
Ever had your brakes fail when going up a hill?

Secondly, I had devil's own job getting a set of seals for my master cylinder for a reasonable price. And it was cheaper to get a replacement master cylinder in the end.

as you know - the master should be fitted at an angle so the reservois is level. if yours is out then fitting the reservoir back to front may make it more level.

it certainly isn't a safety issue but SVA may nbot be happy about it.

the trick to removla is to grap the reservoir and pull it sideways and it pops out.

I couldn't get the reservoir back in to the new master so used my original seals - the news ones seemed softer or someting and I could not get the reservoir to go in.
