bloody hell just had some toyo t1r fitted to rear-on first run out car is all over the place feels to be moving around a lot and at speed thought i
was going to lose it,very skitsy and not nice-any ideas on a rec pressure for toyos(bec)?
If the tyre shop has just blown them up they're probably at around 40psi
I would think you'd want about 20psi depending on tyre size axle weight etc.
most people reccomend arou nd 18psi watch out most tyre fitters use about 30 psi on everything they touch worth checking first
you have given them time to scrub in have you?? new tyres are crap till they lose their shine.
new tyres, do have a coating on them, and need "scrubbing in" ,also pressure is probably 30 psi, as said,

I've heard of people running as low as 16psi, so chances are you're running with at least twice the pressure straight from the tyre shop.
Drop the pressure, then go and give the tyres a good scrubbing by liberal use of the accelerator froma standing start.
If none of that works, then the tyres a crap and no-one else should get any!

used to run T1's 16psi all round, not bad road tyres once you bed them in, they work better when the tread has worn down a couple of mm.
