input threads on girling and wilwood cyls are 7/16" UNF
mhhhh
wy does my 10x1mm bolts enter??
Tks
that's the fluid outlet, not the inlet!
The outlet is different, this is 3/8" unf, which is very close to M10 x 1, but won't work.
the inlet is bigger
both are close!
How can i test if the thread is still any good? after haveing put in several 10x1 bolts..
we are deffo talking about the input since its where the resevoir is connected to.
(it has the plane side and is horziontal)..
Should i guess and buy the 2 nippels??
or should i not quess and drill it to M12x finthread size..
Tks

I think it is the 3/8 but would get one of each. I deff would not drill and tap as that could leave you with swarf in the m/c and failed brakes.
unless you have some strange girling cylinder the input is 7/16" unf
I have fitted flipping loads of the things over the years so I am quite familiar with them!!!!!!!
Inlet 7/16" unf outlet 3/8"unf
Hi NS DEV is correct .
cheers matt
its not that i think he hasnīt it right its just that i have already everything conencted and i have had a 10x1 bolt in there..
but now i try to do it the proper way with 10x1 banjo bolts. but they just donīt work!
offcourse if i drill them then i dismantle them entirely and then there is no swarf left only a usefull M12x fine thread!
