Hi guys i have got a velocity XT and i have a brake balance bar, apart that i donīt untherstand very very well how to mount it all up, i wanted to know if the both MCīs are of the same size?

Does anyone know if luego sells both MCīs the same size?
or does the rears is smaller?

Also is it true that to mount the balance bar i need to take of the MCīs, put on the balance bars the alloy pieces! just at the center distance of both pistons!

and then put the mc thru the hole and turn it in the thread??

i have it now mounted but i can see with the eye that they arenīt center...

also how easy could the girling mc leak liquid?

Thanxs allot..

Tks

Larger m/cyl to the rear brakes as they need less effort. Assemble as you said but adjust the pushrods so the bar is at 90 degrees to the pedal with the brakes applied 50%.

you want a 5/8" cyl for the front and a 3/4" cyl for the rear, as a start point, most sevens should work with this setup and a balance bar

The Rally design website has some Tech Tips in the top right of the page including some drawings of setting up a balance bar. Link here.
