Evening all,

Could someone tell me the thread size for the hose which goes into an M16 caliper and also the thread size for the caliper mounting bolt on a Cortina upright.

Thanks in advance!

off the top of my head (was fitting front brake calipers only the other week) the calipers are m10x1.0 and and the mounting is m12x1.75 but will check properly for you later if i'm not corrected by any one else.

Its neither M10 nor M12 for the hose mounting threads....not sure if thats what you were reffering to though. Think they're usualy unf or less commonly af though think it could even be metric....honestly not sure! Sorry....Oli.

Oli , I don't know what that course was you were on but it seems to have left you distinctly muddled judging by this evening's posts!

Be very careful you get the correct pitch thread istr it isn't 1.5 I think it is either 1.25 or 1.75
