Is anybody using Mk2 Escort front uprights on there Locost?. If so what mods did you do to them

Strikers use Mk2 Escort uprights. I may have a pic of mine somewhere.

Basically, the damper tube is chopped down and a threaded boss welded on the top. Then a ball-joint screws into the boss.

I'd recommend going for either RS2000 or Capri uprights as you can get ali hubs for these - youo can't get bearings for ali hubs for standard Mk2 Escort uprights (as I unfortunately found out....).

HI for escort front upright use on kitcars try looking at sylva's striker. Also STM do some replacement escort in steel frabrication that are quite light no idea on price though.
