Right, having spent the weekend giving myself a ring piece blowout putting my engine in, I have found that my gearstick is somewhat hidden by the
scuttle (next time I think I will buy an engine hoist!)
I've done a quick search and found some info on gear extensions, using Steve's method, but I was more interested in the other, more
complicated, one using a lathe. My question is (finally - gotta lay off this cider) does anyone have a cad drawing of the bits required? The guys at
work are happy to do the work but with a cad drawing I can use the auto lathe to whip it up pronto. I would draw it myself but my cad drawing is
fairly crap.
Any help would be great cause I could sort out the gear problem and be wizzing up and down the estate in no time.
Cheers
Chris
I'm also considering holding a ritual Burning of the "£250 sports car" book up at Stonehenge as it is becoming a hinderence more than
insperation.
If anyone is interested give me a shout, will use them to cook some snags and steak.
Chris,
will use them to cook some snags and steak?
Would snags be short for snaggers by any chance? I haven't heard that since my days downunder.
