If you were to fit the poly bushes to the bones they probably wouldn't meet in the middle as you have them in the photo.
After fitting the bushes I filled the gap with red brake grease before pushing the crush tubes in.

What Mark said + the crush tube should normally be only just longer than the Polybushes in the wishbones.
Make up the distance between the crush tube and the bracket with steel washers.
The washers should have an ID of the bolt and an OD of approximately the polybush.
You obviously can't leave too much space between the polybush and the bracket or else your suspension settings will keep on changing as the
w'bones slide backwards and forewards.
I'm not too sure if the crush tube is long enough to be crushed by the bracket if you could use washers with an ID bigger than the crush tube.
Maybe someone with more experience could comment.
thanks guys i thought the bushes had to be tight together but is it fine to leave a gap in the middle so the bushes go tight to the inside of the bracket?so i would not need spacers as i would at the moment
Looks like the chassis bracket could do with a bit of straightening out, should be no need to cut the crush tube down then.
no the brackets are the same with at the back and the front i know the photo looks like there narrower
