
I have ordered my Indy kit, and have specified rear disc uprights.
How hard is it to adjust the brake bias to make sure the rear wont over brake.
I have heard that a brake resistor from a fiesta screw straight onto the master cylinder.
Anyone else done this or used any other methods to reduce rear braking power?

The main two are using the brake apportioning valve from the sierra, which should probably work, but it's not adjustable and has a weird
deceleration sensitivity thing which may mean it needs careful positioning. The other and probably preferable thing is a bias adjuster from a Fiat Uno
IIRC which is quite compact, and can be adjusted. See Bob's photo archive for pics.
Of course if you use an adjustable bias brake system, you get around having anything like this at all.

My Xr4*4 donor's master cylinder had three outlets. One for each front wheel and one split between the two backs. So far this has worked out as
expected, 66% braking to front 33% to rear. Been on track and even when i got it wrong and locked up the fronts for a while the back did not lock.
I have no other gizmo's in the brake line so IMHO it appears Ok

the sierra one looks way too fiddy to use.
there is also the option of a mini bias valve. However you need to use a non metric fitting on the pipe. Thats what I have, as well as ABS.
