Hi,

I would like to change my Type 3 (or C) gear box for a Type 9 (HD Long 1st).
Does anybody know if the box's are directly exchangeable (same length, same input shaft ect)?

Ideally I don't wont the expense of a new propshaft!

the type 3 is smaller in legth to th type 9
and the output spline is also bigger in diameter. IIRC the input shaft is also a different diameter requiring at least a new clutch disc.
