Morning dose anybody know if the xr4x4 rear driveshafts will fit into the pushin type bearing carriers or do I have to get the carriers from the xr4x4 thanks
If you do a search you will find lots of info on this, but from what I understand it is possible to mate the bolt on shafts to the push in diff,
although I think you have to use parts from each driveshaft to make it work.
Cheers

considering how often drive shafts come up, we could do with a FAQ.
(i'm as guilty as anyone for asking the questions & it would help me)
anyone want to post some facts into this thread or start a new one?
Hi I have the diff for the bolt ons and the driveshafts but not the carriers for the bearings hence will they fit the carriers I did a search but could not find anything and haven't got time to strip before goes for the test.
I dont think they do because whenever people with push-in shafts/drums want to change to an LSD (which have bolt-on shafts) they have to change the
whole rear end - carriers brakes and all.
Someone on here made hybrid bolt-on push-in shafts by swapping CVs on some driveshafts but I recall it was a bit of a hunt for the right sized
shafts.
Best off getting the xr4x4 rear bearing carriers and disk brake setup.
