I sourced a recon one from a local motor factors for around £20. This was an excahnge deal- they took any old ford rack. The excess for no exchnge was around £20 - so, worst case scenario £40

This was in swansea - local recon factory up the road! If you can't get a decent price send me a u2u and I'll price one locally for you.

Same here as Phil m, used my donor rack (ford Granada with pas) as trade in on recon escort rack at local motor factors. £20.96 +VAT for the rack and the surcharge was only £10.

Go speak to the local factors about exchange racks.

I have a mark 1 escort rack gathering dust - you are welcome to it for the price of postage and a pint.

Was on my locost and worked fine

I just checked their website a 2.9 rack is actually less than £60
