Anybody know if there is a low ratio (between 3.1-3.5) Capri axle that I could use instead of the existing Cortina 4.11 that I'm currently using. I'm getting just 96mph tops at the moment, and whilst the acceleration is awesome, more top end is needed for track days.

Well my axle came from a 2 litre Mk2 Capri with a S reg plate and that has a tag on it saying it's a 3.44:1.

Apparently the Capri 2.8i had a LSD 3.01 - think that's the one for me, will give a top end of 128mph.

Any chance you could measure the length of it for me to see how it compares to the 'tina one?
