I'd say that looks pretty damn good though the angle between the steering rack and the TRE looks quite scary- is it on full droop or
something....
No technical backup for this but it just looks wrong from an engineering sympathy point of view....
You didn't paint the whole disc did you?

*Cough* bottom shock absorber bolt *cough*
Looks like you're gonna have a fair bit of bump steer. If room allows I would drill some holes further down the rack mounts to hold it further
forward and lower down. Thats also if the steering linkage allows it!
This picture shows quite well how I position mine lower down the mounts, and now it gives almost no bump steer.

Adam
it's on full droop, the car is how i got from joel, when watching his video's he didn't seem to have many probs..
Yes i forgot the bottom bolt...
the rack is about 2 inches back from level with the steering arms, i read that this is good for ackerman stuff. Its also level with the bottom
wishbone when at ride height. What that car does need is the wheel geometry sorting out accurately, i had wonky toe and camber. Also maybe the upper
bone modifying to get correct castor. Corner weighting wouldnt go amiss either!
Heres a link to an ackerman thread:

Hmmmm,
My steering rack will be in front of the brackets. I'm placing as the tiger Avon so?
I did it in 3D and no bumpsteer there.
And Ackerman is nuts
The cortina upright has an ackerman which is sh*t.
If ackerman must be in that upright then your rear axle has to be around 6 meters futher to the rear. So i gave that one away.
About 3 years or so we will know if i'm right or talking po
