I have heard talk that you can use the Escort Mk II, Capri or Cortina axel for the book (RC) chassis

Is this actually the case, and what pitfalls should I be aware of.

Are these all live axels too ?
Can I use any other escort as opposed to the mk II or are the later models different ?

later escorts are front wheel drive. the capri axle is a little wider, but can still be used. they are all live axles. the IRS axle is most commonly used from a sierra...
