nice - the racks looks like it is sitting too high and too far back - rough rule of t humb isthe track rods should be parallel to ground (yours won't be as there is no weight in the front) plus come out at right angles to the wheels.

The car isn't sitting at the right height yet though.... Don't understand the last comment??

When the engine goes in the body drops and the track rods will level out??

Cheers

i think he means that the track rods, from the steering rack to the wheels should be at 90 degs to the wheels - where as in teh picture it looks like the track rods are not 90degs to the wheel. - almost looks like the steering rack needs to be moved a bit more towards the front of the car.

interesting thing you've done with the rear running gear..... makes me wonder why on earth havent i done that?! is way easier and it justifies the tradeoff in weight imo... plus you have IRS!

bugger...

Thats right . the steering arms are level with tha arms when at ride height. The front arms are not to book spec's as I brought them off a kit car company here in NZ so the rack is not in perfect place

The rear end is out of a MX5 and made life alot more simple. it is a bit heavy but as you said its a trade off between weight and simplicity of build.
