sounds like a strange question but theres method behind my madness......

anybody know if i can get my hands on a 1:1 ratio diff, i was thinking about the centre diff off an evo but i dont know what ratio it is....doesnt have to be 1:1 exact but as close as possible, needs to be able to cope with a fair ammount of power and torque.....

cheers

Matt

never heard of such a beast, wouldn't the pinion cog have to be the same size as the crown wheel weird

what are you up too?

I think not asking what he's up to sounds like a good idea

Dont know if these will be of any help

linky

Although they dont go down as low as 1:1 they do go pretty low ratio wise but I dont expect that they are cheap. On the plus side they should be strong enough to cope with most applications

A solid rear axle with a big beefy bevel gear in the middle and one the same size on the end of the prop shaft, will give you what you want. assuming you want a VERY limited slip diff. ie None.
