Our possé are deliberating over including a Brake Bias Valve into our MK Indyblade. Due to the more balanced front/rear weight
distribution by using the 'blade engine, is it essential we use the BBV to pass the SVA. We have read and heard conflicting reports both ways.
Our setup is as follows:
Front/Rear Discs (Fr Vented, Grooved and Drilled. Rr solids)
We do not intend to heavily participate in track days, so adjustability is not a priority tho' we understand it is a valuable option if or when
required.
Any advice would be most welcome!
I fitted one, not sure really needed but very easy to do during build, real pain after!
Any advice from any other Indyblade 'kitters' out there? Is it needed?
Understand the theory behind the Car engined kit - but weight is very biased to front....
Anyone???
Sorry, I replied to the other version of this thread. Two Mk indy blades SVA'd last year both without BBV. On road and track not found need
for one as braking seems to be perfect. Passed MOT last week with no issues over brak balance.
Cheers
Jim
