I have read a lot of discussion on the accuracy of the front suspension wishbones - now I'm getting paranoid!

I have built them as accurately as I can (using a jig) and they measure up fine once fully welded, except the eye tubes on one of the bottom wishbones. Both are sitting at a very small angle offset to a flat plane. They are, however, equal. I know some of you guys will freak at the thought, but if I fix the brackets to the chassis at the same small angle this should true it up so that the verical movement is true. (Making sense)?

With the adjustments available with the track rod end and top ball joint adjustement and when using metalastic bushes, is the front end forgiving of minor issues?

Depending on how off the eyes are, i would consider putting the brackets on flat, cos there should be some give in the bushes. if the brackets aren't in the same plane then there will be some twist as the arm moves up and down. I wouldn't worry, my front is a mm higher at one side so im gonna but the bracket a mm lower. Now that is a bodge....

Just made my wishbones today, only used a jig to get the bush tubes on right, just gonna use clamps for the rest, ie welding the pairs of arms to the BJ plate. Have to be careful that the ball joints go on in the same place.
