So, as above
For wheels I am looking at some Compomotive's and Team Dynamic's.
For tyres, I have seen R888s and AO48s.
So, what is the best combo?
Pros and cons of each?
Best place to buy from?
Thanks
James
I got a superb deal on made to order team dynamics pro-race 1.2s (17x7 205/40 front / 17x9 255/40 rear with neg offset) running cooper avons from Wheel Mania in Birmingham (Coventry Road) - Can't recall the exact prce but was < £800 all in for lovely looking wheels...
I think Compomotive MLs look perfect on a 7. If (when) I build another one I'd definitely like to use those. As for price and where to buy, no
idea I'm afraid!

I've got Superlite wheels on mine but haved used both the R888s and AO48s. Not a huge difference between them. The AO48s have slighty stiffer side walls and possibly the best dry grip especially if you buy the softer compound. The R888s seem to be slightly better in very wet conditions.
i bought a set of team dynamics pro-race 1.2s from halfords. i had to take them back 4 times
becuse they wasnt sprayed propely in between the
spokes. so in the end i had a refund. so check them if you buy some.

One thing to consider when choosing tyres is whether or not you actually WANT the maximum grip possible. Although this is great for getting fast lap
times on a track, you may have more fun on the open road with a tyre that has less maximum grip and lets go more progressively - perfect for a bit of
easily controlled tail-out action.
