Will A Jag back axle fit

I have the chance of obtaining a jag backk axle of XJ40 1991 not sure if they are live axle if they are has anybody ever fitted one building book built chassis with ZX-9R Engine .

They're independant wishbone-type and jolly heavy. The driveshaft acts as the top wishbone. They're wide too, although they can be narrowed, but that costs £££.

Lots of LSD's though. I think this is too heavy-duty for a low-torque motor.

The last live axled Jag's were the MKII's Salisbury as I remember like the Scimitar GTE's)

I had an xjs and can confirm all that the above poster says.

absolutely wrong for a locost and probably accounts for a lot of the weight of a jag.

it uses a seperate diff, giant diff carrier and drive shafts as the shafts and diff do indeed function as the top wishbone! there is also a trailing arm each side.
