Ripspeed wheels V's Team Dynamics Wheels
Hammerhead - 27/9/07 at 04:10 PM

Halfords have Ripspeed Player wheels for about £280 for 4 with tyres. I physically picked them up and they didn't seem that heavy.
Are the Team Dynamics pro race 1.2 and pro race 2 wheels worth the extra cash?

I want Toyo R888 tyres which add alot to the overall cost. I'd really prefer to spend £500 for the wheel tyre combo than £800.

Any opinions?

Couldn't tell you but I do like my 1.2s and they seem a lovely light wheel...

OZ Superleggera / Ultraleggera are widely touted as the lightest non split rim available @ around 5kgs for a 6.5 x 15
Not expensive either.

The Team Dynamics ProRace 1.2's wheels7.0 x 15 are 6.9kgs (15.1lbs) weight.

Better choice:
1. 15"x6,5 Rota Attack PCD 4x108 ET18 or 40 weight 4,5kg - price $100 for each;

2. Oz Ultraleggera 15x7 5,2kg
