Is anyone aware of a non-IRS rear axle that used a 4-on-4.5" rear axle other than Triumph?
If so, please post the source and rear track or hub-to-hub spec if you know it.
Thanks,
Doc,
4 x 4.5" (or 114.3 mm) is the standard pattern for smaller RWD Toyota's - eg Corolla's, Celica's, Corona's, etc etc etc. I
believe the same pattern is also used by other Japanese makers eg Nissan, Mazda.
Depending on how much power you intend to put through it, I'd be looking for a late 70's/early 80's Celica (RA40, RA60 models).
Hope this helps,
Dominic

MGA and MGB have this pattern.
Probably not common in the UK, but six cylinder Mustangs from 65-69 and six cylinder Falcons from 60-69 as well.
Carcentric,
This site lists wheel fitments for loads of cars, while it doesnt tell which are live axel and which not it should help...
