Capri 2.8?

THAT!

Pepperpots - ugh. Maybe not eh

Always go for the 7 spokes off the inj special - are they 14"s? Though with lo-profile tyres...

Try BurtonPower: they have Minilites 13in x 6, 7 or 8in rim.
205 will fit in 7in rim.

Obrigao Joa,
Problema e que tou usando Fiat hubs.

Using Fiat Hubs ay...... That is a problem!

Cant remember which hubs are the same as Fiat. If you can get ford to fit, then the 2.8 capri wheels are 7inch wide (Brooklands) (cos i have them )

Otherwise, maybe have to get some alloys made. or find a company that does 13x8 in fiat fitment

I seem to remember not so long ago that the subject of 'wide' tyre use came up.
Bear in mind your car weighs next to nothing compared to the everyday tintop and therefore exerts less pressure, couple that with wider tyre contact area, creating even less pressure on the road per sq.in. and you have the recipe for huge tail slides and loads of understeer.
Look at Rally cars on gravel / ice, they only run relatively skinny tyres. I'm sure 205s would be ok, it's just you said '...or bigger.

Havent thought of that, I am actually building a fiat barchetta. It's one of the old Fiat 500 shapes but in fibre glass and in without a roof. I am using an alfa boxer engine 1.7 16v midengined instead of hanging off the back hence better stability but this might decrease the wieght on the rear so I'll have even more problems. Thanks for the advice will stick to 175 or maybe 195s.

Alain
