Brake Drums

Has anyone got a photo of the insides of a Sierra brake drum? I took mine to bits and can't for the chuffin' life of me work out where all the springs go! I've got the Haynes manual, but the drawings a bit vauge on were all the springs go....

Cheers

I think I've got the measure of it. Can someone who's seen one complete have a quick look at these and see if I've done anything really stupid?

Brake Drum

The photo's are quite big, but I wanted to get the detail in. The bit I'm not sure about is the spring marked A-B.

The B end is clipped in the same hole as a big fat spring, and the A end shares it's hole with the auto adjuster bar.

They haynes manual isn't very clear about any of this, just showing the springs in vaugely the same post code as the brake shoes.

Any help greatly appreciated, dodgy brakes are not something I need!

Cheers,

tr

Looks ok to me.... Why not put the drum back on, and see if the handbrake locks it up!

Looks right to me as well, mine are built exactly the same!
