10deg angle required or not? (could do with your advice guys)

i have been fitting the steering column today, have got a nova column and one uj but dont think it is at 10deg, does it need to be at 10deg as the nova column is crushable?
your help will be greatly received

Pretty sure you still need that angle in there matee. Get yourself a copy of the sva manual. If you do a search on here you should find one. I did

I think you'll be fine as it is a crushable column. I don't know why more people dont use the Nova column it's much neater and lighter than the Sierra lump. Incidentally the Manta column is similar too, thats what i used with less than 10° bend. Just a quickie that centre bearing thingy looks a bit industrial, why did you not use the Nova mounting bracket on the column?

it was hanging around the unit and was same size id as the tubes od so just fitted it
