i know i there M10 fine 1mm), 8.8 or 10.2.
How long shoyuld they be?
roughly 15mm but if they are to long they will hit the diff and do use a thread locking compound. Ford used blue plastic coating on the threads and
personally I'd try to get them from a dealer if it is the Ford stuff your using. I bet you can still get them easily as they still have plenty of
rwd vehicles

Deffinatly still available from ford, I got mine there.
when i needed earth points for my speedo i was told to try cap head bolts so that i could be sure the 2mm gap was even between the earth and sender, i
take it that's a non starter ?

8.8 bolts are more than enough to take the load. The bolts shouldnt take any of the load any way. Its the frictional force between the prop and diff
flange which takes it.
FYI got 8.8s in mine and its fine.
