Anyone know the spec for the acky cacky black grease in Sierra Lobro joints? Is Castrol Moly suitable?
Also, what do you get in a new joint kit? Is it just the ball races (i.e. not the outer carrier with the threaded holes).
I thought it WAS plain moly.
Certainly the stuff in the CV boot kits looks, feels and smells like moly....
You should get outer body, cage and balls and inner spider, shaft circlip, end cap, gaiter and tie, bolts and grease sachet. Don't take the joint to bits! It's like a rubik cube to reassemble.
