was talking to a mate at the weekend about wanting to build an electric trike (MEV's Pocket), he's doing something similar but a bit beefier & petrol powered (along the lines of a mini Grinnall Scorpion) and wants it to weigh in around 200-250kg. He's looking for lightweight upright / brake / suspension components / wheels for the front but doesn't think the quad stuff as used on the MEV is up to his needs - any idea's?
Brakes from a small bike or scooter may be enough. MNR may still be doing the raceleda stuff. What about making your own?
200 kg is a good target weight isn't it? I'm hoping my full bodied 3 wheeler will be less than 300kg and I may be lucky. What engine are
you thinking of using?
Check out berriford chassis components - they do grass tracker stuff, including uprights.

Try www.drdracing.co.uk as well. They do a lightweight upright as well.
