Morning all

Just a quick question on removing the ball joint and top wishbone.

I need to adjust the camber of the front wheels which means removing the top ball joint.

Can this be done with the vehicle on it's wheels or does it need to be jacked up?

I'm trying to picture what would happen if I removed the top ball joint with the weight of the vehicle on it's wheels. Something tells me the sus[ension would drop down and the weight of the vehicle would pull the wheels in probably causing loads of damage.

Could any one confirm if I'm right? I don't want to go removing anythging until I know it's safe and won't damage anything.
