I call it vacuum pipe. Not sure if thats 100% correct.

I have replaced some of that stuff on my car with silicon vacuum pipe off e-bay. Seems to have done the job.

does it not need to have specs so mr sva will accept it?

BGC Motorsport Components do reservoir pipe.
I'd be a bit careful about using any old pipe on safety and SVA grounds. Cheers, Pewe

I wondered what this thread was going to be about, just going by the title

That's why I clicked on it too... Bit disappointed now!

Merlin Motorsport do it and it comes with a cert/letter for SVA purposes. I think that CBS may also be doing it and they call it "brake fluid filler hose". I think I prefer the OP's description.

merlin motorsport do it too. At stafford i asked and was quoted £5 per foot. Merlin are a lot cheaper.

ive wondered before about using standard rubber brake flexi's off a truck or something.

MikeR - 18/9/08 at 06:16 PM

just followed a link from the bgc motorsport and its epdm hose. Googled for that and got quite a few hits.

Merlin still seem the cheapest - although some sites either don't specify a price or a length

Editted to add, i think epdm hose doesn't mean brake fluid resistant
