Help!
Been making my hand brake mounts today for a sierra hand brake.
Never seen one until about 6 hours ago and i'm stumped!
On the transmission tunnel you need to have something to hold the plastic round bits at the end of the coiled outer. One has the adjuster and hte
other just looks 'normal'.
how have people made this bracket? Does anyone have any pictures?
I've taken some 19mm tube, drilled out a washer and welded it to the tube. I've then cut a slot to allow hte cable to get through.
Do i mount both of these in the same direction? Do i mount one towards the front and one hte rear of the chassis?
Arrgghh - confused!
see the photo in my achive , I used 2.5mm universal cables from Hein Gericke and drilled the centre out of M10 (two sizes of hole) bolts to fit the sleeve/cable and for the adjuster ! it works a treat!
