Any idea what thread size you need?

Somewhere like EuroHydralics?

not really needing the thread. its for a axle breather tube. i'm going to weld it into the back cover of my atlas axle

RS

Or haven't you got a small piece of tube you can weld on? No pressure so no real need for the barb.

true enough^ i was thinking one of those so i could clip a peice of tube to it easy enough and looks proper too, but you're right a peice of tube would work. just thought they looked nicer. my axle can't actually be seen you see

For search purposes, it's called a hose barb.

My LPG system uses them where the output of the injectors goes onto the inlet manifold.

This would look ok screwed in.....

can't you just use a brake bleed nipple?

jacko - 11/10/08 at 04:44 PM

Air line parts ?

looks very much like the fitting that screw into facet pumps. available for 6 mm and 8 mm hose.

look at FSE (fuel Systems enterprise) they sell them, ..... but check they are steel as if they are brass (which I think they are), you cannot weld but solder sholuld work too.

locost way would be to weld in a piece of steel tube and attach a host with jubilee - it won;t blow off as there should be very little pressure being a breather.

What about an air compressor fitting??
