adam1985 - 19/10/08 at 03:40 PM

hi all im just trying to work out what fittings i need for my brake lines im using 3/16 knuifer pipe. all the brake fittings seem to be either 3/8/unf or m10x1.0 which do i go for or does it not matter is one just metric and the other imperial i take it my whole brake system is just going be one or the other
cheers adam

m10x1 fittings will not fit in a 3/8 unf hole and vice versa!

you need to know what holes are in your master cylinder, and in your calipers, and any T peices, and get fittings to fit each one.

the pipe itself should fit ok (i think)

i am running standard sierra calipers all round with the sierra master cylinder do you know which these are then i can get all the same to suit i dont have any T's or anything else yet

i don't know what they are exactly, but they'll be metric. most likely M10x1. hopefully should have my calipers in by the end of the week
