I currently have ford 7 inch rims with an offset of 40 which fit well. I want an 8 inch rim at the back as i get zero traction (spins in 4rth gear in
the dry) I used one of the online offset caluculators and it says to run an 8 inch wheel with outer face in the same place i need a 50 offset but i
cant seem to find any listed anywhere.
Any ideas where i can try?
10mm spacers ?
i believe you'll find that's -10mm spacers required and they're only available in unobtainium.
vauxhall alloys are et49 so most off the shelf wheels should be available in that offset. a quick google brings up plenty in 4x108 in et49 too so you
should be alright. if not, it'll have to be split rims.

ETA : ok, i lied. the quick google brought up plenty of results. however it looks like most of them are in cyrillic or some other crazy form of the
written word so maybe not all that accessible.
ETA to my ETA : if you could stand multi drilled wheels, you might be able to get some double drilled for 4x100 and 4x108 in an et49 offset. if not, a
cheaper alternative to buying split rims, despite inherent light weight and coolness, you could get your hubs drilled to 4x100 and run whatever
vauxhall wheels you fancied.

Are mondeos not around the 48mm mark? May not be 8" wide though.
thanks guys, I had a good look on google but couldnt find anything more than 40 in an 8 inch wheel. I'm going to make a few phone calls today.
look up rota wheels :-)
